thousand 1.2 meter diameter bored piles. The viaduct superstructure consisted of cast-in-place and precast concrete girders using Full-Span-Launching, Balanced Cantilever and Cast-in-Place Methods. The design

accounted for seismic, climatic and dynamic loading conditions based on Korean, Japanese, American and European design codes.

The project locations was the area of mangrove swamp which required heavy soil improvement replacing with suitable materials and soil grouting by using the

methodology of the followings: Space Grouting Rocket

(SGR), Jumbo Special Pile (JSP), Rod in Jet Pile (RJP) particularly at tunnel launching shaft area.

The works are mostly of cut and fill earthworks and 35 bridge structures inclusive of pre-stressed Girder bridges as well as a NATM tunnel (450m), 260 box

culverts and 252 pipe culverts for ancillary works. Responsible for:
