Compressed Air Car

Today the whole world is in search of alternative fuel, to fulll the need of fossil fuel because in coming years

there will be scarcity of fossil fuel. There are couples of option of alternative fuel such as solar

power, tidal power, geo-thermal power, etc. and one of them is Compressed Air. The. important

condition for the 78 alternative fuel is it should be renewable and eco friendly.

This project work has provided us an excellent opportunity and experience, to use our limitedknowledge. We

gained a lot of practical knowledge regarding, planning, purchasing,assembling and machining

while doing this project work.Unlike electric or hydro-gen powered vehicles, compressed air

vehicles are not expensive anddo not have a limited driving range. This is a revolutionary car

which is not only eco- friendly, pollution free, but also very economical. This addresses both the

problems of fuel crisesand pollution.

Modication Of Shrink Disc Coupling

We have done a project on modication of coupling arrangement in boom conveyor driving mechanism

In this project we studied about a different material handling equipment and we have

modied drive arrangement by guidance of our guide. Shrink disc coupling type arrangement is available

in blender reclaimer, twin boom stacker and wheel on boom conveyor. These are running without

any Problem. In this project we have observed a increasing of mechanical eciency and

maintenance cost is less, in the course of doing project work, I found it very interesting,

informative and result oriented.

This type of modication are essential in reducing breakdown.
