Responsibilities:

Reporting of inspection activities to all project concerned.

Testing of pipe lines along with following the safety rules and regulations.

To check out defects in welding (SMAW, MIG TIG, Gas Welding & Electrode Welding)

Document Review like WPS, Procedures etc.

Looking after various erections and welding related.

Piping fit up check,Welding surveillance & weld visual inspection

Verification of QAP & other documentation

Inspection of all pipeline activities as per client’s specification.

Inspections are carried out at each stage like fit up, welding and weld visual

Review of Testing certificates, Internal Inspection Reports.

Witness & review of NDT i.e. RT, UT, MT, PT.

Witnessing joint coating activity as per approved PQR.

To Inspect the Incoming material as per specifications.

Report to Project Manager & Client Area In charge.

Responsible for inspection of all types of welding, Piping & fabrication & Non Destructive Testing in plates & pipes.

Reviews and approves Inspection and Test Plan (ITP – witness, mandatory inspection and record review), Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) as per Codes & standards and developing Quality control documentation as per Quality Inspection Procedure.

Interpretation of RT films, PT, VT, RT as per relevant acceptance criteria, codes and standard.

Verifying built drawings, Weld maps, weld joint preparation, fit up, dimensional inspection

& alignment and carrying out visual inspection of completed welding as per code requirements.

Maintain Quality Management System (QMS), follow-up audit findings review and closing NCR’s with proper Corrective & preventative actions. TRAINING :

Four week training at “SOUTH EASTERN COALFILDS LIMITED” PROJECT DETAILS:-
