Assisted my fitter/welder by Setting up for the day bringing argon/tools needed to our work area that is needed and hooching up 100% spark containment covering up any drains in the area. Filling out daily inspection sheets making sure everything is in working condition. Beveling/ and polished pipe to get the pipe ready for my fitter when my fitter was busy fitting another pipe or Bolting up spools and valves, cutting lashing to securing the pipe to the steel. Cutting angle Iron for pipe supports. assisting my fitter flying pipe in the racks or using the grass hopper to retrieve spools in the laydown yard. Assisting my fitter with leveling and squaring the pipe watching and learning how to get the high low out of the fit learning how and when to manipulate the pipe where I want it to go no matter the size. Fire watched and housekeeping when needed.
