Project Brief ..:

This is the compliance project which was introduce in system to the send an Alert message to the system operator about the changes has been done to the system control files, data areas etc.

For this we have included two new screens to maintain and approve the changes made. This is two step process of making changes in any system control files and data area values which are used to control the system processes. Also introduced job which will continuously check the control file or data area values are changed. If any value is changed then alert message will be send to operator that control values are changed, need to take action before proceeding.

This functionality is used for items that share the same characteristics except that they have different colors and sizes. Such a group of items are gathered within one model number. Matrix panels have been created where all colors and sizes for one specific model can be handled. These panels are available for item creation, sales order lines, purchase order lines and warehouse availability.

Modifications have also been done for sales pricing of matrix items. It is possible to use normal pricing for one specific item, i.e. a model/color/size combination, as well as quantity dependent pricing for the specific item. The sales pricing modification is that it is also possible to define special quantity dependent pricing for the whole model. This means that the accumulated quantity for all colors/sizes within the model are used to retrieve the sales price for the sales order lines that are about to be created.

14. Mutual Fund Front End Integration:

Project Brief:

This project is divided into three different parts:

a) Front End System:

Java application sends a request to the Queue on AS400 (MQ). Front end Driver program monitors the MQ queue and once there is request driver program call the program for the requested process, process the request and again put the reply in remote queue of the same MQ Queue manager.

b) Backend System:

Mutual Fund system previously using only back end system as on AS400 green screen the same programs updated due to the addition of the new fields in the database and batch program updated for the daily offline processing.

c) Synchronization and one time conversion program:

New fields added in the database were synchronized for the values from HUB system and one time conversion programs are created for the updation of the files for existing records.
