Application of Six Sigma Methodology to reduce defects of the grinding process (Review)
This project was about reduction of defects in the fine grinding process in an automobile part manufacturing company in India.
Used DMAIC methodology to reduce defects to the parts while grinding process.
Results with decrease of defects from 16.6% to a drop of 1.19%.
Six sigma level improved from 2.47 to 3.76%.
