ü Utility Water: Used Aspen HYSYS to Hydraulically model all offsites piping for utility water at BP cherry point refinery. Project was used to analyze different scenarios and identify max load needed to determine available make up water for new cooling tower installation. ü Butane Unloading: Analyzed different procedures and modeled possible new compressor skid to improve butane unloading process and economically feasible for BP refinery. Sized steam and condensate piping system.

ü PSV Troubleshooting: Sized and identified possible fail scenarios for pressure safety relief valves on various pressure vessels including desiccant dryers, lube oil pumps, and cooling water piping lines. ü Create pump for non-Newtonian fluid: Worked with team to activate pump with remote-control car and devise specifications to maneuver car around obstacles including fluid. ü Project Management - Convert waste CO2 into Kerosene: Deploy largely unproven process for conversion using a combination of disciplines including fluid mechanics, transport, reactor design, and heat transfer principles for solution. Also ran an economic analysis to project if project would be viable.
