Scope of Experience and Skill Set:

Oversee planning, organization, scheduling, and execution of multiple construction projects.

Hire, train, evaluate, coach and terminate as necessary job superintendents, vendors, subcontractors and labor.

Maintain appropriate communication and satisfactory customer relations; handle and resolve complaints and grievances.

Efficiently schedule employees and subcontractors utilizing material, labor and time requirements meeting project schedule and budget.

Source, negotiate rates and assist with workforce planning of subcontracted labor while identifying and resolving worker challenges.

Examine and inspect work progress, equipment and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.

Ensure conformance to local, state and federal safety laws and regulations as well as company quality standards/safety plan.

Coordinate and communicate with inspectors in connection with municipal inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Ensure accurate job cost coding for labor/material costs reporting and process vendor invoices and contractor applications for payment.

Analyze construction project plans determining construction requirements, recommending value engineering and creative solutions.

Review and critique construction drawings, bid documents and project specifications fully understanding the project’s scope of work.

Review project plans insuring material par levels are sufficient; analyze usage throughout the job to adjust material packages.

Serve as main contact for job site challenges and resolve issues between builders, trades, inspectors, sub-contractors and team members.

Ensure team members are meeting deadlines, quality specifications, safety requirements and assist as customer relations ambassador.

Develop and sustain positive long-term business relationships with industry colleagues, vendors and team members.

Communicate daily with all levels of management, departments and owners.

Ultimately contribute to reduced expenses, increased sales growth, higher revenues and company brand equity.
