During high school employment was part-time. With full time employment, my ultimate position was assistant store manager. The managerial duties entailed all aspects of operating the grocery stores.

PEPSI COLA - 1977 to 1996 - Daytona Beach, Florida:

My initial position as a route salesman was one year. The remaining eighteen years was in a managerial capacity. Besides overseeing marketing and merchandising at the retail level, hiring and training various employees required a significant amount of time. Part of my responsibilities was a fifteen million dollar annual budget.

All accidents were investigated and accident reports completed. Some resulted in claims negotiated at the local level within the self-retained limits while others became litigation. As a corporate representative on some of the litigation, my presence at mediation and trial was required along with testifying.

Rather than accept a promotion which required relocation, pursuing self-employment as a process server was an enticing aspiration.
