Responsible for the Cigar Formation Department, reporting to the Marketing Director; in charge of developing and implementing the formation plans for the different target groups (staff, tobacconists, Horeca, consumers); devised and promoted complementary actions to formation and established the annual formation schedule.
Key achievements
- Managed to give formation to around 1.500 people every year.
- Increased 10 to 15% attendance to courses, every year, for the last six years.
- Our surveys showed the formation plan was rated above 8/10 by, at least, 90% of course attendants and no target group ever gave a negative general opinion on our courses.
- Developed a sequentially structured formation plan which allowed attendants to attain knowledge and skills gradually.
- Developed complementary formation actions, which needed to be both legal and effective, when the new tobacco law went into effect in Spain.

- Published, as co-writer, “Epicur’s Guide to Havana Cigars” and “Epicur’s Guide to coffee, spirits and cigars”.
- Managed to obtain an advertising increase of around 20% and a sales and subscriptions increase of around 15% in two years.
