oPull per blast was improved from 3.2m to 3.5m resulting in annual cost savings of 1.8 crores by improvising the drilling and blasting practices thereby increasing blast fragmentation as well as cleaning of LPDT bucket after unloading.

oFill factor improvement from 85% to 90%, resulting in annual savings of 1.2 crores; involved in changing drilling pattern as per site conditions was found to be the most effective way in increasing pull accompanied by the number of cartridges of explosive (ANFO) to be charged per hole
