I have been working as an “Assistant Manager (Geology)” over the past 7 years in Trimex Sands Pvt. Ltd, Trimex Group of Companies, Andhra Pradesh. I have experienced in various fields mainly Mineral Exploration, Preparation of Mining plan, Review of Mining plan, Resource modeling, Participation in E-Auction of ML, PL & Comp. Licenses, Business development, filing Statutory returns and Quality control of the deposits mainly in Heavy Mineral Sands (Beach Sand) mining, Iron ore, Manganese, Quartz, Feldspar, M-Sand, Barytes Mines & other Exploration Projects in India and abroad. Previous Employment:
I worked as a “Geologist” for 2 years in MSPL Limited, Baldota Group of Companies, Karnataka, got experience in Geological Mapping and Mineral Exploration of “Iron ore Mines, Banded Iron Formations, Limestone & Dolomite Exploration Projects”.
I had worked as a “Project Geologist” for 1 year 6 months in Remote Sensing Instruments (RSI), Hyderabad on Diamond and Gold Exploration projects located in the areas of Madhya Pradesh (for Rungta Mines Ltd) and Chhattisgarh (for Shourya Diamonds Pvt. Ltd) by using Geo-Chemical Exploration Techniques, GIS and Remote Sensing Image Studies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field mapping, data evaluation, recording and compiling geological data in and around the mine. Surface & Subsurface Geological Mapping of the deposits.
Detailed Exploration of the located deposits by way of systematic drilling. Exploration and Prospecting report preparations.
Preparation of Cross-sections by using the Software’s Auto CAD and SURPAC. 3D geological modeling of the deposits by using SURPAC software.
Organizing infill drilling & pre-production drilling in working areas and prospecting areas. Planning development of the Mine and Quality control at mining site.
Cross check sampling of ROM (mainly) and others (needs based). Monitoring tailing disposals from the viewpoint of avoiding loss of resources due to contaminations
Maintaining the reports of Mineral Production, Depletion, Reconciliation and month wise mining statements.
Organizing Survey in working areas and prospecting areas. Preparation of Statutory Plans, Mine development plans and other mining related plans.
Assist in preparation of Mining Plan and Review of Mining Plan.
Preparation & filing of IBM, AMD, MoEF, AERB & DGMS Statutory Returns & Inspection reports. Liasoning with various Government organizations like IBM, MoEF, Mines & Geology, Forest, Revenue Dept’s etc.
Preparation and participation in E-Auction of Mining lease, Prospecting license and Composite license applications.
Look over Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007) documentation, conducting Audits and Review of IMS Implementation as an IMS coordinator. Major Projects Undertaken:
I have been working on Beach Sand Mining, Iron ore, Manganese, Quartz, Feldspar Mines & other Exploration Projects located in the areas of South Indian states from the last 7 years.
I have been associated with preparation of various feasibility, pre- feasibility & Resource estimation reports of abroad & Indian projects on Titanium sand, Placer & Residual deposits, Base metals, Chromite and Quartz deposits.
I worked for Iron Ore Mines, BIF, Gold and Associated Minerals
(Copper, Cobalt, Lead and Nickel) Projects in the Bellary- Hospet sector of Sandur schist belt & Gadag schist belt of Karnataka

Good field knowledge & experience in Prospecting and Exploration of different types of Ores, Rocks, Structures and various Geological & Geomorphological aspects.
Detailed Surface Geological Mapping in different scales (1:5000, 1:2000, 1:1000) with respect to 1:250,000, 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 scales with the help of Brunton Compass, GPS, Tape and field studies. Preparation of Geological Plan, Surface Plan, litho log etc.
Structural mapping on mega & microscopic scales. Exploring potential areas to prove the occurrence & delineation of ore bodies. Broader understanding of stratigraphic and structural controls of mineralization.
Systematic Drilling, Rock chip and Channel sampling on bedrock exposures, Stream Sediment, Soil Sampling and random Rock chip sampling in different RP, PL and ML areas.
Reserve Estimation through cross-section method (Block Wise Calculation) and Geo-statistical Methods. Reassessment of reserve & grade by interpreting & preparing cross sections.
Good knowledge in Heavy Mineral Separation techniques with Wilfley’s Table, Jigging, Panning and with Bromoform / TBE & Magnetic Separations. Knowledge in identification of Heavy minerals & Indicator minerals (Pathfinders) under Binocular & Polarizing Microscopes.
Advance navigation skills with topographical map, GPS, compass and with Aerial photographs & Remote Sensing images.
Preparation of feasibility report of working areas. Overview of mineral evaluation, reserve estimation of ores and its profitable plan
Knowledge in different Mining methods. Excavation plans to guide Mining operations for achieving the targeted ROM.
