UAT Tester
Project Description: As part of the UAT testing team, our team is the last phase of testing before the product goes out to the vendor. I test correspondence/letters that goes out to clients and customers, to ensure that the letters are free from bugs. I perform test using their proprietary software called Papyrus that allows you to integrate CSV files to produce PDF documents for proof verification. I develop cases that include test plans and test strategies and examine all aspects of the application from a client’s or end-user's perspective. Create and run SQL statements to verify data for testing in the database. I create defect reports in ALM for submittal to designers and retest bugs to ensure that they have been fixed before deployment to production.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Designer’s and Product Owner to understand template design.
Preparing detailed test plans, acceptance criteria and test scenarios for each project.
Create test cases and scripts manually in MS Excel and HP ALM.
Testing software to identify and resolve problems from an end user’s perspective.
In charge of testing generated PDF document letters compared to the specified requirements/templates.
Responsible for all testing activities including test case development, tracking testing coverage, and execution.
