A 204 bed, for profit, acute care community hospital. Responsible for oversight for all human resources related functions for all of our affiliated hospitals; Approximately 755 employees and over 400 contractors; Direct supervision of four staff.

Implemented new human resources policies and procedures related to health and welfare, compensation, and held 3 successful Alternate Workweek Schedule elections in accordance with California Labor code provisions; resulted in over $1 million annual savings to the hospital.

Successfully outsourced the Respiratory Therapy Department and brought Security services in-house without any major disruptions to the organization.

Effectively implemented union avoidance strategies that resulted in over 600 employees remaining union free.

Oversee all aspects of Workers Compensation, 401(K), pay/employment statuses, and benefits for both Olympia and the Alecto corporate office.
