Executed the Assessment Plan for Course Training Documents submitted for approval to GHQ as well as any courses prior to delivery to the AMMROC Training Management Committee (TMC). Maintained effective lines of communication with all training sections to ensure the accuracy of collected information related to Assessment Tasks. Provided facilitation and/or curriculum development services within the call center environment for Arizona State University (ASU) Human Resources, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) – Worldwide, ERAU – Daytona Beach and ERAU – Prescott Enrollment, approximately 253 e-Learning Services schools with services to and for Students and Instructors and Password Reset, the K-12 Computer Take Back and Enrollment Assistance Program and Owens College Enrollment. Organizational Human Resource Development (HRD) Specialist

The Human Resource Development (HRD) Specialist provides direction and vision for Training, Organizational and Leadership Development (T&D, OD, and LD) initiatives to best support strategic Human Resource Management (HRM) initiatives and drive career development for all employees, in the organization. The HRD Specialist assists in Organizational benchmarking and the implementation of industry best practices in HRD/HRM related projects and facilitates, and participates in technical, and leadership training programs. Additionally, the HRD Specialist is the POC and is responsible for managing all aspects of the following budget line items for the Organization: Training, Consulting, Marketing and Club memberships, and Federal/State Marketing and Competitive Intelligence online memberships.

Co-wrote, administered and was identified as the organizational POC for the Skill Development Fund (SDF) training grant, worth over $817,000, awarded to MAT, by Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), Austin; this also included monthly financial spending and employee reporting.

Negotiated all vendor pricing and responsible for all course logistical needs, i.e. room reservations, order lunch, cancellations, etc., for the courses included in the grant and for all other training paid for out of the Training budget.

As the only identified Instructional Systems Developer in the organization, training was developed using the ADDIE model and the SAT; additionally, responsible for reviewing all technical writing projects/contracts before final print.

Analyzed Return On Investment (ROI) worksheets and applied adult learning theory (Andragogy), Earned Value Management principles, Bloom's Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Levels 1 - 4 assessments, Kolb's Learning Cycle and Michael Porter's Competitive Advantage, to suggest the best approach to address learning opportunities.

Lead Technical Writer

The TW writes and edits technical documentation for the organization’s products using the SAT and the ADDIE model. TWs have excellent research skills, organize their ideas well and able to translate technical terms into text that any reader can understand. They develop and maintain installation, configuration, how-to documentation, and online help for both customers and employees. Additionally, the TW reviews published materials and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, content, methods of reproduction and binding.

Achievements

Rewrote all Terminal and Enabling Learning objectives for all training programs and re-formatted the training materials to be compliant with TRADOC Regulation 350-70. I introduced the organization to the SAT using the ADDIE model as they were still using PowerPoints for all their training endeavors. This required a complete overhaul of all content. I oversaw and was responsible for this task. The organization had no analyses, objectives, assessments, etc. but within 6-months, re-wrote the main program using ADDIE and SAT. All other programs moved to Development Stage of the ADDIE model. I moved on to a new position and saw this task through to end.

Curriculum Developer and Support Services Trainer
