Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of Inspection and Test plan according to the client specification and code requirements
Inspecting Of Incoming Materials, Consumables As Per Specification And Project Requirements.
Prepare and review of quality procedures including Welding Procedure specification (WPS) & Procedure qualification Record (PQR) and NDE procedures.
To Identify And Prepare Welding Procedure Specification WPS & PQR For Jobs As For Project Specifications And Verify Welder Meet PQR Requirements.
To Monitor Welder Performance And Conduct Visual Inspections Of Welds And Repairs Of Welds In Accordance With Company Procedures And International Codes Of Practice. .
Prepare And Review WPS/PQR As Per Code Requirements.
Familiar in reading/review of fabrication Piping Isometric drawings and welding symbols.
Dimensional inspection of fit up item.
Pre-welding inspection such as weld edge preparation, bevel angle, root face, root gap alignment.
