For a state-wide, protective service and child welfare agency – client population of 45,000, progressively increasing responsibilities and authority in various geographic locations. Management and staff positions included: Manager of Human Services, Consultant, Program Analyst, Training Specialist,Supervisor and Social Worker.

• Managed 6 supervisors directly, with in direct staff of 30 social workers, servicing 1,500 abuse clients, including drug addicts and alcoholics. Operating budget of $5.2 million.

• 53% increase in reporting accuracy resulting from development and implementation of a fiscal tracking system.

• $500,000 savings to New Jersey and ending of funding to vendor in contract violation – documented abuses, monitored progress biweekly and reported findings to top management. Result: Three state agencies cancelled funding.

• Established and managed New Jersey's first 24-hour a day, seven day a week, Child Abuse reporting, response and data collection system. Total staff of 8 full-time, 29 part-time. Set staff performance standards, developed service goals, prepared reports, budgets, and staffing projections.

• As consultant to Federal government responsible for reviewing legislation, interviewing service providers and recipients, developing option papers and influencing the passage of critical Social Services initiatives.

• As internal consultant, performed organizational analyses, developed options for changes in program management, funding and service delivery, and had recommendations initiated.

• As State Consultant to State Law Enforcement, Medical and Education agencies, designed and implemented Child Abuse detection and reporting training programs for local police, municipalities and working prosecutors.

• Radio and television interviews, public speaking.
