My career objective would be Director of Music Education at a College or University. I would also want to continue to pursue my work as a Professional Conductor and Musical / Artistic Director of a professional ensemble.

Long Beach Community Band / Shoreline Symphonic Winds August 2008 - Present

! Responsible for Conducting and programming of all concerts throughout the City of Long Beach and in the Greater Southern California Region.

! Also works in conjunction with the Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital to provide music for Veterans functions and celebrations.

Hoshino USA January 2013 – January 2019

! Product Specialist for the Tama by Kanstul Marching Brass Instrument Line.

! Responsible for Product Education for Musical Instrument Distributers Nationwide, and in charge of the Brass Instrument line at Music Trade Shows Nationally.

! Responsible for Public Relations between Music Educators and staff at Hoshino USA.

! Worked closely with Kanstul Musical Instruments of Anaheim CA in research product development and design. Fountain Valley High School August 1998-June 2006

! Associate Director of Instrumental Music.

! Coordination, teaching and preparation of the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Pep Band.

! In charge of creating and teaching Music Theory programs from Basic theory to Advanced Placement Music Theory Courses.

I have arranged pieces for many notable ensembles, including most recently The Pacific Symphony Orchestra, The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and The Long Beach Municipal Band. I have continued to write many transcriptions and arrangements for my own ensemble, The Long Beach Community Band. I have also arranged pieces for many ensembles at CSU Long Beach including the Symphony Orchestra, University Concert Bands, Woodwind, Brass and String Ensembles as well as the University Big Bands.
