COMMISSIONING, TESTING AND MAINTINANCE OF ADNOC, QATAR PETRLOEUM, SAUDI ARAMCO OFFSHORE PROJECT

Electrical Maintenance Technician has overall responsibility to coordinate repair, maintenance, and modification of platform and to ensure that all electrical systems required for oil production and exploration by condition monitoring.

Coordinate and supervise as required the placement, repair, installation, and/or testing of major electrical equipment and systems for platform and upcoming project requirement.

Performed preventive, corrective, troubleshooting maintenance and testing of electrical equipment's in the plant to maintain the availability of the process facilities.

Provide input as required to the computerized maintenance and material systems (CMM) such as MAXIMO so that all necessary areas of electrical, electronic control and related items on the platform are properly addressed to the concerned.

Operation and maintenance: supervision of operation of gas genet, synchronization of generator, emergency generator, crude oil transfer pump, utility equipment etc. Maintenance and repair of electrical equipments of offshore platform.

Responsible for smooth and economic operation of electrical system, trouble shooting of control system, generation, distribution and utility equipments. The job is included preventive maintenance of equipments, maintenance of batteries, UPS system, lighting, preparation daily reports, monthly reports and status reports.

Involved in operation and maintenance of offshore platform, HT substations and switch gear involving.

Analyzing and fault finding from panel ladder diagram.

Supervision/trouble shooting of generator panel and switch gears, associated electrical power/control circuit.

Operation and maintenance of 6.6kv and 415v generation and distribution panels, vacuum circuit breaker etc. Ensure availability of stand-by equipments of uninterrupted power system.

Provide assistance in procuring adequate manpower, tools, training and other recourses required for proper operation and maintenance of all electrical systems.

Reviews and analyzes all subcontractor and vendor quotations and reports for electrical work.

Adopts company health, safety and environmental programs and ensure implementation, ensures and consistently adhered the company objectives, policies, programs and procedures.

Prepare plant modification reports (PMR) evaluate and implement with the vendor coordinate.

Well head towers maintenance such as power supply arrangement for pigging operation.

Control operation and maintenance of electrical power system equipment as per safety rules and permit to work LOG OUT, TAG OUT (LOTO SYSTEM).

Up to 2.2MVA,66/33KV, 33/6.6KV, 6.6 KV Transformers Maintenance, Ventilated and Hermetically Sealed types covering examinations including Leakage, Insulation Testing and Parallel Operations condition, fault investigation, rectification, testing and maintenance of Transformer and it accessories.

Check predicative care on electrical equipment using IR detector on MCC’s and motors, sampling of insulating oil in H.V. transformer, recording S.G. levels, ensuring proper floating charge, and change out of battery as specific gravity history records determined.

Check and record the status of the measuring instruments such as watt-meters, voltmeters, ammeters and other instrument auxiliaries of the substation.

Install and maintain electrical work on plant electrical systems, equipment and apparatus to Assists the engineer in conducting electrical testing and shutdown activities.

Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective / worn parts and reassemble equipment using hand tools.

Involved on the Pre-commissioning of the power plant Loop checking, completing Inspection Test Record sheets, compiling as built drawings.

Now as per Maintenance schedule carrying out Preventive, Routine and on call attending Break-down maintenance on a day to day basis.

Analyzing and driving compliance with blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and additional specification.
