Hannah Poyner is a graduate of the University of Memphis from which she received a Master of Nursing Science with an emphasis of Family Nurse Practitioner. Hannah received her Bachelor Degree of Nursing in April 2014 from Baptist College of Health Sciences. She began the MSN program in August 2015 by way of online and on-campus curriculum with in-clinic practicum through the University of Memphis via the Memphis, TN campus.

While Hannah was a nurse on an Intensive Care Step-Down Unit, she served as a preceptor and mentor for new nurses as well as a charge nurse. While there, she also served as the unit co-chairman for shared governance where projects were completed for quality improvement for patients and their families.

Hannah completed 720 clinical hours in adult, pediatric, and women’s health with a capstone to include family practice. Hannah completed hands on training for basic suturing, knee joint injection, electrocardiogram interpretation, radiographic imaging, and pelvic and prostate exams.

Hannah is currently board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed in the state of Mississippi and Tennessee. She is also registered with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
