In my current role, I have designed and implemented test automation solutions for 3 different teams/applications and have driven automation from non-existent to up to 82% automated within a year. I have also implemented test automation framework for Rest APIs using RESTAssured and continuous integration using Jenkins.

As a QA Automation Lead, my primary role has been to advise, consult, design, develop, and implement automation frameworks for clients engaged to delivering releases in an agile environment. I have successfully designed and implemented solutions for Southwest Airlines using open source frameworks and tools during this tenure.

In the latest engagement, I have implemented 3 different solutions using open source BDD Frameworks and tools such as JBehave, Cucumber, Serenity, and Selenium Webdriver with Java 7. Across these applications, we achieved 60% automation coverage in a very short span of time. During this span, I also invested time on providing formal training to 30+ resources on open source automation tools and concepts. Over the past year I have completed Distributed Agile/Scrum training.

Over 2+ years’ experience as QA Automation Lead, in creating and implementing end-to-end automation solution for Web Applications, and APIs built on WebMethods. My role was to design and implement automation solution for Java based GUI application and Middleware applications which were an integral part of healthcare services for the client. I spearheaded and successfully lead team towards a fully automated test solution built with open source frameworks and tools, and IBM RIT, driven and managed through DevOps tools and processes. 4. QA Automation Engineer Aug 2009 to Sep 2014

As an application test lead for multiple BPM applications and WebMethods apps, my role was primarily to perform requirement analysis, design test plans, test scripts in accordance to test strategy, attend project meetings, perform defect management, perform test execution and reporting. Also, was involved in project scheduling, engagement and estimation activities. I was also responsible for designing automation framework and developing automated test scripts for changes deployed over monthly and quarterly releases. My role was to design and implement testing solution framework with continuous integration between QC, IBM RIT and SVN to achieve a seamless no-touch headless automation framework.

During this span I have completed certifications in HP QC 10, HP QTP 10 and received “Certified Application Tester” certificate from MIT (Massachusetts). Also, completed core-banking certification -

“Banking Generalist Certification”.
