I have completed over 600 hours of clinical hands-on training as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner student, with hours in Cardiology, Nephrology, Pulmonary, Infectious Disease, Internal and Emergency Medicine. I passed the AGACNP-BC board certification exam (ANCC) on January 31, 2020 and I also have an active APRN license in Florida. I am a fast learner and have over six years of experience as a critical care nurse, working at large level one trauma centers and at smaller community hospitals. I spent two months working a COVID-19 crisis contract in New York City (NYC HHS) during its peak, and I am currently in the Rio Grande Valley working as a crisis ICU nurse, fighting COVID where its needed.
