Responsibilities:

Pre-construction Phase:

Review MEP contractor shop drawing prior to submittal for service co-ordination and co-ordination with other construction elements.

To advice on any impact on services caused by Architectural changes and raise Query like RFI to Architect, Consultant & Client.

Review material/equipment technical submittals from MEP contractor for specification compliance.

Produce equipment & builder- work scope Schedule for all MEP equipment detailing construction and maintenance requirement for equipment.

Review of method statements from MEP contractor with respect to installation works and logistics for equipment positioning.

To liaise with MEP Manager on matter seeking advice/requiring assistance.

To assist internally QS and Planning department for update MEP system progress.

Ensuring timely submission of MAS & DAS as per schedule target and obtained approval from Consultant/Client.

Construction Phase:

Ensuring that services provisions clearance is provided in time for structure.

To provide technical advice to construction team.

To oversee MEP service installation under civil contractor scope of works.

Close inspection for MEP contractor installation works.

Carry out site walks and inspection for service installation, identifying poor quality elements and advise construction team and MEP Manager.

Carry out inspection for MEP Contractor material along with QA/QC and Consultant.

Ensure that MEP site instruction/NCR are closed out.

To inspect concealed MEP service installation prior to closure of void /riser etc. in conjunction with QA/QC and obtaining consultant sign off.

Ensure that Company HSE policies are implemented at site in coordination with HSE department

Completion Phase

To co-ordinate and obtain approval from local authority like DEWA, ETISALAT, DU, Dubai Police Inspection for CCTV cameras, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense Authority for completion of Building.

To ensure proper handing over of O&M, AS BILT Drawings of all MEP services, BIM Models, all Warranty Certificates with other documents.

To ensure/organize training of all installed MEP services to client.

To ensure timely implementation of Engineers (Consultants) inspections (Builders works individual services installations, Testing & Commissioning and handing over inspections) on site to achieve planned progress.

DETAILS OF MAIN PROJECTS EXECUTED IN UAE:

1.Mashreqbank HQ Tower Project – Downtown Dubai

(Dec’2017 to Till Date)

Build up area: 784,469 sq.ft.

Building Details: 4B+G+31+LR+UR

Building Height: 150.30 m

The project is located in front of Cinema Car Park, Dubai Mall and it consists of (4B + G + 31 + LR +UR) storied Commercial Tower, with 8 levels from L-24 to L-31, L-5, 6&7 for Mashreqbank HQ Offices, B4 to L-4 used as plant rooms and car parks area, Ground floor used as main Reception and LV room, L-8 is used as plant room and from L-9 to L-23 will be used for tenant floor.

Total Connected Load: 7.518 MW

Transformers: 1500 KVA x 6 Nos.

UPS: 250 KVA (200 KW) – 3 Nos.

60 KVA – 2 Nos.

Rack Mounted UPS: 21 Nos.

Chiller: 100 TR – 1 No.

2.Burj Vista - Down Town Dubai Development for EMAAR Properties.

(Nov’2015 To Nov’2017)

The project is located in front of Burj Khalifa and it consists of 2 Residential Towers, one with 538 Apartments in 66 levels and the other with 128 Apartments in 20 levels. Both these towers are on a common Podium with Two Basement, Ground, Mezzanine and 3 Podium levels. The Tower-1 has 63 stories above Podium, out of which level 6 to 23, Level-26 to 43 and Level 47 to 64 are Apartments and Level-65 and Level-66 are Penthouse Apartment levels. The Tower-1 is served from plant rooms in B2, 4th, 5th, 24th, 25th, 45th, 46th, 62nd and 63rd floors. This tower is served from plant rooms at levels B2, 25 and 45.

The Tower-2 has 20 storeys above Podium, out of which Level-4 to Level-17 are Apartments, Level-15 & Level-16 are Plant rooms and Level-19 & 20 are Penthouse Apartment Levels. The tower is served from plant rooms at levels B2. The Tower-1 consists of 538 Apartments (1 Bed, 2 Bed, 3 Bed and 4 Bed & 5 Bed room Penthouses). The Tower-2 consists of 128 Apartments. The total built-up area of the development is 1,832,542 sq. ft.

The City Walk Residential & Retail project comprises of 8 Midrise High end Apartments of 5&6 Storied Buildings.

The MEP services to above 8 buildings are arranged in 4 groups. HVAC system comprises of chilled water distribution with 12 no’s of 317 tones capacity Chillers, 12 no’s CHW pumps, FCUs, AHUs & FAUs, Car Park Ventilation System, Staircase Pressurization, Smoke Extract, General Extract System, BMS & CO System.

The Electrical services comprises is 24 MDBS, Bus bars, GMDB, SMDB, Final DBS, 4 Generators, 24 Capacitor Banks, UPS System, Access Control System, Earthing & Lightning Protection System, Voice Data Systems.

The HVAC cooling load is about 4,500 TR fed by central district cooling and has FAHUs, AHUs, FCUs, Chilled Water, Supply, Extract, Smoke Extract, Stairs Pressurization System & BMS Systems.

The plumbing installation has Cold Water, Hot Water with Domestic Heaters, Rain Water Drainage, Forced Drainage System, Condensate Drainage, Soil, Waste & Ventilation System.

The Fire Fighting System comprises of Wet Risers with Landing Valve, Fire Hose Reels, Automatic Sprinkler System, Foam Deluge, FM 200 & Pre Action Systems.
