TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficient in ACLS/BLS, suturing, ABGs, incision and drainage, phlebotomy, IV insertion, arterial line insertion, performing and interpreting EKGs, NG tube placement, Foley catheter insertion/removal, central line removal, IM/SC/ID injections, aseptic techniques, and splinting/casting. Extensive training in caring for patients with developmental disabilities through the NYS DDPC Grant.
Experience with intensive care, trauma surgery, ultrasound use, including ultrasound-guided phlebotomy and line placement, fetal exams, eFAST exams, and assessing fluid status through focused heart and lung exams
