Testing and Maintenance operations for 33KV/11 KV and 11KV/415V Substation Equipment’s such as Transformers (750KVA to 1600KVA), Current and Potential Transformers, Circuit Breaker, Isolator, Lighting arrestor and Insulator.

Involved in Installation of Cables and Panel boards and various Sub Station equipment’s.

Transformer testing: TTR test, insulation level between HV and ground, transformer oil testing, megger testing etc.

Carry out Factory Routine Tests at Final Assembly of equipment.

Carried out internal Electrical Safety Audits.

Maintenance for high power rating electrical equipment such as Diesel generators (1010KVA).

Panel Erection and Earthling, Panel wiring and Equipment wiring as per cable schedule.

Transformer testing: TTR test, insulation level between HV and ground, transformer oil testing, megger testing etc.

Installation of cable lay: measuring cable length, dimensions, and clearance of parts, using precision instruments out with accurate measurements and Panel board installation in substation. Industrial Visits:

Visited to an NSTL, Visakhapatnam on National science fair-2015 & observed the design & testing conditions and process of torpedo and self-sailing boats.

Visited to an AP TRANSCO 220KV substation Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam and observed the switching & controlling of power.

Industrial Training:

Trained for (6months) at A.P.E.P.D.C.L Operation and maintenance of 33/11kv electrical substation, Asilametta, Visakhapatnam Special maintenance of distribution transformers.

In this training period of 6 months I have been trained in a substation for 3 months and I was well known about the works involved in substation.

Rest of my training period I have trained at Transformers repairing Section & Testing section of new electrical equipment’s like Transformers, Switch Gears, Lightening arrestors etc. Internship:

One Month internship at Vizag Steel Plant in Main Receiving Station (MRS) Department. Software Skills:

Projects:

Speed Control of AC Motor using 8051 Micro Controller Single Phase AC Motor Speed Controller project will explain you what exactly is needed to make control a real world device using our well-known 8051 micro controllers. In this project we can use switches to control speed of AC motor and LED display is provided to show the current speed.

Speed and Direction Control of a DC MOTOR using PWM Technique with I.R Remote We can control the speed of the DC motor by simply controlling the input voltage to the motor and the most common method of doing that is by using PWM signal. But we are using Arduino board for wireless signal transmission to control the speed and direction with I.R remote. This application we can use in industries, agriculture etc. Workshops and Events:

Presented a paper on “Magnetic Levitation” in National Level technical symposium conducted by NSRIT on 24th December 2016.
