Project Management Responsibilities:

Lead and Communicate with Field Supervision, Subcontractors and Vendors to assist them in working to the Project Schedule as it pertains to Building Services engineering. And maintaining effective Client - Contractor - Consultant coordination.

Review the general contract and post-contract documents and confirm the budget setup for material and manpower sourcing in conjunction with the project phases.

Involvement in design and technical calculations for the MEP scheme of the project and appropriate equipment & material selection and BOQ groundwork. Taking active part in preparing technical submittals, shop drawings development and related approvals from consultants and local authorities.

Handle material sourcing, acquiring quotes and negotiating for the best possible price with an effective cost management technique with suppliers. Liaison with Suppliers/ Subcontractors in tendering and administration of contracts, variation orders and payments.

Plan and monitor the Project activities as per the construction program and related material and manpower arrangement and using an effective Time & Cost control technique during the entire stages of the project.

Ensure the project compliance with local Electricity and Civil Defense authorities' regulations; and responsible for pertinent authority’s approvals for related MEP executed works.

Plan and forecast project budget as per targeted Job Cost Analysis (JCA) and project related human resource requirements for entire stages of the project. Lead and manage project team to achieve project program and milestone schedules.

Coordinate for preparation of MEP Bills for sub-contractors/Clients as per project progress schedules. And reconciliation of Client bills and contractor bills for every bill.

Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Systems to ensure that the required standards are achieved.

Attend all schedule and management MEP meetings necessary to monitor and manage the project, and to build effective working relationships with clients.

M&E Construction / Building Services Engineering Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the MEP contracting works from contract award stage up to project handing over, while ensuring that project Construction program and project budget control are met

Responsible for complete installation & commissioning works of HV/LV electrical, Standby Diesel Generator Systems, UPS Systems, Busbar Raiser/ Power Cable Systems, Lighting and Power Distribution Systems, Voice/Data, Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV & Security Access Control Systems, Public Address (PA) & Audio Visual (AV) Systems, BMS System and other Low Current systems

Involvement in complete installation & commissioning works for complete HVAC systems scheme, Plumbing & Fire Fighting Systems, BMS system integration with compete MEP network and other electro-mechanical works for external landscaping areas

Ensure all MEP work forces to follow complete safety regulations and target to increase the LTA (Last time accident) hours.

Monitor MEP work progress to ensure alignment of construction as per the associated Construction program along with other building components of Civil, interior decorators and false ceiling & furniture decorators etc.

Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure that the work is completed according to the requirements/ needs of the client as well as Government regulations and standards. And to enforce quality control in the project
