● The primary responsibility included UAT Testing and monitoring of new/updated Jobs and giving a go ahead for PROD Deployments if successful.

● Scheduling and monitoring of Jobs using the Control-M Tool. Extracting and debugging the logs for these jobs through unix putty for file watcher jobs and for load jobs for which we used informatica tools.

● Used various unix commands to debug in case of failed or long-running stuck jobs. Also for load jobs used debugging tools like informatica. Additionally we also looked at the database to check if data is loaded properly or not and lay down more remedial steps. Continuous monitoring and remediation of jobs per their average run time and other metrics was part of the job responsibility.

● Used ServiceNow to close the incident for various user requests and the ones related to some testing and deployment related issues.

Putnam(28th july 2014-20th oct 2016)

● This was a Banking Production Support project for a US Investment firm (Putnam Investments). I was responsible for supporting the trading and investment environment for the Trading Support Group's applications. These applications send out data to downstream and vendor applications and process and load data into the database as per the business logic. These were primarily responsible for providing updated start of day cash to traders before start of business.

● Being a critical business as it was dealing with the financial data for trading, if there was any delay we were responsible to notify all downstream dependencies, identify the cause of the delay and also update its status at regular intervals and resolve the issue. In addition to the above, we were responsible to support other applications that help the trading and investment environment for the client. These were the applications which provide end of day and start of day position updates to downstream dependencies. Downstream applications and vendors would use the data to have business and trading databases up to date. L1 & L2 Support Responsibilities in above projects:

● The primary role was to keep the applications up 24/7 and to be in touch with the application team, vendors and other teams like DBA, Middleware, Server ops to resolve application related issues.

● Performing Health Check on different Trading & Support Applications.

● Closely monitoring EOD & SOD Cycle for different Applications.

● Working on different priority tickets following the SLA defines.

● Working on Autosys Jobs request, customization via Shell Scripting.

● Analysis of UNIX scripts, scheduling of jobs through cron and Autosys jobs etc in case of any failures.

● Raising change requests and carrying out the change for the new development.

● Performing problem management for recurring issues and taking to closure.

● Participating in Disaster Recovery for Trading Application

● Providing support on early market closure or critical situations such as adverse weather situations.
