COMPANY PROFILE

Power Source Division (PSD) of Tafe established in 1993, has made giant strides in the area of lead acid batteries. Today it is one India's one of the largest battery manufacturing companies, having three state-of-the-art plants located in Maraimalai Nagar, Tamil Nadu, manufacturing a whole range of batteries for different applications.

In 2005, TPS tied up with one of the world's foremost VRLA battery manufacturers, BB Battery Co., China, for manufacturing and marketing VRLA batteries under the brand name AMCO BEST. These find extensive use in UPS, Telecom and other standby applications. AMCO BEST catering to diverse applications such as Automotive / Tractor, Solar (tubular batteries) and Home UPS etc. Yet another technological marvel from TPS is the introduction of SPEED BOSS SMF 2 Wheeler VRLA Batteries.

Current Experience :

Since Auguest - 2017 with M/S. Tractors and farm equipment Ltd, Maraimalai Nagar

Leading the team for Incoming, In process, Final & Customer end.

Revalidation of parts as per sample plan inspection process and

Inspection control in PPM level of customer.

Analyzing the process / customer rejection and proposing the

(CAPA) plan & QC story methodology .

Updating the FMEA & Control Plan with CFT team on customer complaint basis. Implementation of SPC new product development parts

Preparation of PDI Inspection reports for every lot and analyze every NC components are stored at NC pallet (Implementation of 5s)

Trained in Problem Solving Tools like Checksheet,Pareto analysis,Fish bone,Control charts & Hisrogram.

Preparation of One point Lesson based upon customer complaints & Test certificate is prepared fort every lot after Final inspection.

Assures that purchased materials and components meet the quality requirements & clearance through SAP.

Monitoring and controlling the process using SPC & MSA studies .

Isolating and collecting data for NON-CONFORMITY products from line to rejection area.

Handling of Vernier caliper,Multimeter,Gauges & Material handling equipments etc.

Knowledge in Six sigma,Process capability,PDCA,TQM, & QMS concepts.

Guide other Team members in their assigned duties when needed.

Generating the quality reports periodically & providing to the quality manager.

Previous Experience

September - 2016 to July -2017 with M/S. VOLTECH ENGINEERS PRIVATE LIMITED,CHENNAI.

Completion of given projects of testing electricals from organization in diffrent location at north zone.

Testing of switch gears using Meggar testing (5KV),Polarity testing,High voltage testing 30(KV),Circuit Breaker testing etc.

Testing & Commisioning of Electrical machines like Switch gears,Generators,Transformers and 33 KV switch yard through Electrical kits at power sub stations.

Preparing and submitting the Daily reports to Head of the department.
