Technical Services Manager (2007 – 2020)
●Lead team of seven engineers responsible for Systems Data, Storage, Backups, Systems Security, Server Engineering, Compute, and Data Center Operations.
●Worked a large scale datacenter consolidation project that involved building a metro cluster datacenter using EMC Vplex and VNX SANs.
●Purchased all computer equipment for Datacenter usage, EMC and Pure Storage, DELL servers, Brocade switches as well as Racks, UPS’s and cables for system refresh as well as new technologies.
●Helped drive the implementation and rollout of VDI. Providing virtual desktops for employees as well as remote contractors.
●Replaced our traditional tape backup with backup to Disk using Data Domain. This decreased the backup window and greatly sped up restores.
●Brought in Email security that provided virus protection, phishing protection, backup, archiving, and E-Discovery.
●Moved all servers off premises and reached a goal of 100% virtualization in private cloud.
●Worked with and coordinated with our International divisions in Mexico, Poland and Romania.
●Worked to renegotiate the Microsoft EA for a 15% reduction and a $678K savings.
●Renegotiated datacenter contract for a yearly savings of $94K.

●Worked to move production servers of premise to Collocation facility Downtown providing the company with better data protection and increased uptime.
