PLANT DETAILS: HINDUSTAN ZINC LIMITED, Zawar mines, Udaipur, Rajasthan is having 1x80 MW captive power plant of BHEL Make pulverized fuel fired boiler and turbine of BHEL Make condensing and extraction type.

Worked as Desk engineer in BOILER DCS OPERATION.

PLANT DETAILS: BOKARO POWER SUPPLY CORPORATION LIMITED, Bokaro steel city, Jharkhand is having a total 9 units of combined capacity of 340 MW.

(27 OCTOBER 2011 – 10 OCTOBER 2015).

Worked as Desk engineer in BOILER and TURBINE DCS OPERATION.

PLANT DETAILS: CENTRAL COAL FIELDS LIMITED, Kathara is a government enterprise having BHEL make 54 TPH boiler AFBC captive power plant of capacity 2x10 MW. It is specially designed for use of washery rejected coal from Central coal fields limited.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES.

Controlling operation related activities of boiler, turbine and other auxiliaries from DCS

Coordinating with field operators for field operation activities of boiler and turbine during unit running and shutdown period.

Controlling and monitoring boiler and turbine running parameters.

Handling of emergency conditions during operations of plant such as black out, boiler trip, turbine trip, coal feeder trip, steam temperature controlling, drum level fluctuation, auxiliaries tripping etc.

Boiler light up (cold, warm and hot startup) and shutdown activity.

Rolling of turbine as per standard procedure and criteria’s, vacuum pulling, gland steam charging and operation of other drives such as BFP, CEP, CWP, DM cooling water pumps, MOT centrifuge etc.

Shift activity reporting to shift in charge and operation manager.

Local operation of boiler and turbine auxiliaries and equipment as per requirement.

Co ordinating with other departments for PTW related activities.

Trial run of equipment’s after maintenance work with concerned department.

Interlock and logic analyzing and modification considering plant equipment safety and smooth operation.

Carry out hydrotest of boiler in case of tube leakage.

Coordinating with safety department for safe operation of field activities in the plant.
