In this project, the solar panel moves with the direction of sun’s radiation by the action of isopropyl alcohol which gets pressurized when sun’s heat energy falls on it.so,the energy obtained by the normal panel can be increased.

Titleː Experimental analysis and replacement of piston pump for solvent loss in naptha plant
Descriptionː In this project,there was a naptha refining unit which produce food grade hexane
as a product and it consists of many pumps in which wash water pump is used
for supplying water and solvent in the right proportion to the extraction process.
Wash water pumpalso called as piston pump works on the principle that a
reciprocating piston draws fluid inside the cylinder when the piston retracts in a
cylinder bore and discharge the fluid when it expands.In wash water pump solvent
leakage is mainly due to wear and tear in the gland of the pump and breakage of
the gland also occurs.so it often requires maintenance and replacement of gland.
While using the water pump there was a large amount of solvent loss, inorder to
eliminate solvent loss we suggest the replacement of wash water pump to
diaphragm pump. The pump is mainly used to improve the efficiency and to
eliminate the solvent loss.This diaphragm pump provides zero leakage problem.
