Responsible for the IMS to Db2 conversion. Unloaded IMS database using a COBOL program and load the Db2 Database with BMC loads for over 70 tables.

Created a JUG ( JCL Utilities Generator) Db2 database for creating JCL backup, Reogs, Loads and Unloads.

Responsible for Database changes for over 75 Major Monthly Releases on 500 Databases. The Database changes would be rolled out to selective Development Databases to Develop the code change. Then be moved to selective QA Databases for testing. Then after months of development and testing the Database changes are moved to Production. Once the Database changes are in Production the QA and Development that do not have the change are updated so all Database are like Production.

Created 30 Databases for the Department of Education contract. This included the Utilities, JCL and scheduling of thousands of jobs.

Create standalone unloads from Db2 Production Database using BMC Recovery Manager to be loaded to HADOOP. The process was run over a 30-week period to unload over 40 tables standalone without causing any Production outage and loss of data going to HADOOP.

Worked with z/OS operating system upgrades and validation on IBM and third party products both Batch and online.

Possess strong collaboration skills as well as acting independently to expose and resolve problems.
