Duties and Responsibilities:
Hand on experience of calibration, Maintenance, loop checking of RTD, TC, PT, DPT, FT, LT, Level switch, Flow switch, flow meter
Hands-on Experience in Coal feeder & Belt weigher calibration
Preparation of Preventive & Breakdown maintenance schedule, Calibration schedule and execution of same
Trouble shooting instrument failures effectively and in time, later carrying out root cause analysis of the problem to come out with a permanent solution
Responsible for the planning activities like Shift scheduling, maintaining instrument history, departmental spares maintenance, optimal manpower handling technical investigation to determine the root cause of instrument failure, maintaining/updating of job completion records
Limit setting of Pneumatic on/off valves and stroke checking of control valves Range setting, diagnostic, zero trim of process transmitters by using HART communicator
Understanding of P&ID's / loop drawings and preparation of Safe Operating Procedures before execution
Maintenance of MOV (ie Rotork,Gretork,Drehmo,Limitork & AUMA)
Maintenance & Calibration positioner of control valves (ABB, Fisher& Siemen’s), flow meter,pressure transmitter and pressure gauge (ie Rosemount,Yokogawa, Endress haussers, Siemens and general)
Maintenance and calibration of various types of analyser (Silica analyser, Sodium analyzer, Hydrazine analyzer Conductivity analyzer, PH analyser,Chlorine analyzer, TSS analyzer, DO analyzer and Turbidity analyzer) are performed.
Maintenance calibration of various types level transmitter (ie HAWK, Water pilot, ultrasonic of Siemens and Endress haussers)
Maintenance of Pressure switch, flow switch, level switch, and temperature switch of instruments is also performed.
