GERALD STULBERGER
NYS LICENSED CNA
*.* YEARS NURSING REHAB FACILITY EXPERIENCE
SEPTEMBER 17, 2020
OBJECTIVE IS TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT PART-TIME
OR PER-DIEM AS A PCT/PCA.
HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENT IS PREFERRED
My experience has been working with severe dementia residents. I’ve learned to, and take pride in, being very patient, caring, em- pathetic, and gentle with their daily living care tasks. I always try to elicit smiles from them and encourage them to feel as much of their dignity as they possibly can, considering their circumstances. I also take pride in my relationships with my fellow staff workers, al- ways considering our work as a team-effort, due to the frequency of multi-assistance needs of residents.
It is in this light that I would like to move up to the next level of pa- tient care, from CNA to PCT/PCA
I believe I have an edge over younger applicants for these type of jobs because of my age, and I’ve also ran a business and continue to do so part time. I feel that having been involved with many many people in business over the years has given me the ability to under- stand, empathize ( as I mentioned earlier) and talk to people in a soothing way, which is important when they are anxious about their health issue in a hospital or clinical environment. The above can be attested to by my co-workers and administration of the facility of my current employment.

SEEKING A PART-TIME POSITION AS PCA/PCT IN A HOSPITAL OR MEDICAL FACILITY My objective is to offer and use my skills learned as a CNA in a Nursing Home, to grow into a position as a Patient Care Technician/Patient CareAssociate in a hospital/medical facility environment. My age, 64, as of June 20, 1956, gives me the ability to see life from a differ- ent perspective than younger candidates, enabling me to show greater empathy and under- standing to the residents I’ve assisted in caring for. My concentration of experience through the present, has been working with dementia/Alzheimers residents assisting with their daily living activities, as well as relating/interacting with them. I am in excellent health and have no physical limitations regarding any physical work activity that woud be expected of me on the job, and always willing to assist co-workers in any capacity. I am looking to grow with a health-related facility, hospital preferred, and ultimately hope to move up to higher levels of providing healthcare to patients, while continuing my education to earn higher certifications. adg2r9@r.postjobfree.com
