MEP TECHNICIAN
As an MEP technician I am responsible for the maintenance of the VIP terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport. This involves all PPM and reactive maintenance as well as coordinating with external contractors for any work being carried out in and around the building. I interpret technical drawings and lead any manpower deployment whilst ensuring a safe working environment during project work inside the terminal and I was involved in the commissioning of all of the MEP systems. My previous work in HVAC has given me comprehensive experience of complete AC systems, from AHU installation to the fitting and welding of valve packages in the chilled water pipe system.

Roles and Responsibilities
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) scheduling, execution and reporting for all major systems in the terminal including vendor coordination for critical systems.
Liaising with subcontractors for fit-out work, representing Dubai South and ensuring that work is carried out as per the scope and to relevant HSE requirements
Maintaining any stock for spare items and key components
Providing assistance in case of emergency ensuring minimal impact to passengers
Thorough and in depth knowledge of all of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC,Fireand BMS systems in the terminal
Acting as the first point of contact for hard and soft service provision in the terminal
