CONCEPT CAR : 4 WHEEL STEERED VEHICLE January 2018 - March 2018

• The name 4 wheel steered or all wheel steered vehicle implies that all the 4 wheels of the vehicle gets steered.

• It is a concept car made from the parts which were taken from MARUTI SUZUKI 800 (3cylinder inline engine, 796 cc Swept Volume, 5 speed manual gear transmission, front engine, and front wheel drive).

• There are two additional functions in this car, other than a regular car. They are

• Effortless PARALLEL PARKING (or) SMART PARKING in which all the four wheels turns to 90 degree and the vehicle gets easily moved into the parking area.

• ZERO TURNING RADIUS in which the whole vehicle can turn about its own axis.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• My role in this project is to design & development of a gear box with shifter mechanism.

• 3D modelling in Creo.

• Core member in development activity.

• Project report preparation.

• Study the Slider crank mechanism.

• Calculation done for mechanism.

• 3D modelling done with the use of Creo.

• Project report preparation.

• Involved in the development activities during project execution.

• This machine is used for stamping papers and simultaneously removing them.

• The idea is to reduce the human effort and increasing the productivity.

• SLIDER CRANK MECHANISM used in this concept in which the rotary motion is converted into reciprocating motion.
