Biomedical Engineer -Responsible for Operations and Technical Support in Medical Devices

Responsibilities

Able to acquire the devices and systems for the safety and functions

Able to coordinate with vendors for the Quotations, Applications support and Negotiations as per the budgets.

Assign the appropriate control numbers and label the clinical devices

Acquires the necessary information for accurate database for the inventory entry from all the departments

Responds to the equipment problems in clinical areas –Evaluate, troubleshoot and correct the problems

Able to determine the needs to replace or repair the malfunctioning devices in regular manner as per the industry standards

Instruct and guide the technical and department staffs on testing, calibration, Preventive Maintenance and repair of clinical devices

Documents and maintains accurate and current inventory records of all replacement and repair parts

Ability to teach technical and clinical personnel General Knowledge of human physiology and bio-medical instrumentation principles.

May provide information for the development of testing protocols and service center setup as per the ISO standard.

Coordinating vendors to arrange the product trainings in half yearly or annually to our technical and respective staffs.

Worked as a Biomedical Engineer (Weekly three days alternatively) in “Xcellent care hospital” from Aug-2018 to July-2019.
