Key responsibilities

Prepare Shop drawings and Authority Submittal Approvals, plan for upcoming activities, keep vigil on the contractor and coordinate with Consultants and clients during the Final Approvals of Shop Drawings.

Prepared HV/LV Rooms as per Dewa Requirements and Generator Room Designs.

To review and approve engineering design activities performed by MEP Contractor and Consultants for all Electrical and Dewapower and distribution systems related activities.

To ensure uniformity and standardization compatibility at optimum levels in design engineering in all phases of the project and update company Specifications by incorporating the lessons learned.

To audit,produce all documents during performance are in accordance with Quality Assurance.

Follow up with the MEP contractor construction planning and progress on weekly basis.

Support the effort of resolving the Site Issues during project stages with Site Supervisors .

Fully understands the company HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives as they relate to area of responsibility. Ensures the works under quality performed in a safe and environmentally sound manner.

To Prepare Shop dwgs for installation works such as lighting and small power installations.

Incorporation of Consultant comments and as per design drawings.

Communicating with Consultants,clients and sub contractors on electrical issues.

Providing Final As Built drawings for main O&M document.

Attending meetings/ providing status reports to assist in project execution activities and workload planning.

Supporting other departments at meeting with customer and job sites.

Provides calculations relating to cable sizes and equipment rating/selections as required.
