A STUDY ON SAFETY IN MATERIAL HANDLING OF CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY (at diploma in industrial safety)

Construction industry is statistically one of the most hazardous industries in the world. Approximately 30% of fatal accidents occur in the construction industries. Besides causing human tragedy, construction accidents also delay project progress, increases costs and damage the reputation of the construction industry. The accident factors may occur due to employees, equipment’s, materials, techniques and circumstances are underlying causes of poor safety management. Material handling has been one of the important activities in the infrastructure industries. Heavy materials are moved from one place to other with the help of cranes, hoists, etc., Unsafe operating procedures, negligence of maintenance, human errors contribute for many accidents while handling the materials.

RISK ASSESMENT in E-WASTE MANAGEMENT (at ME industrial engineering phase1 project)

Electronic waste (E-waste) is one of the fastest growing waste streams in the country. Growth of Information and Communication Technology sector has enhanced the usage of the electronic equipment exponentially. Faster obsolescence and subsequent up-gradation of electronics product, are forcing consumers to discard old products, they should be properly treated which is in the hands of electronic waste management. This project provides the hazards quantity in the E-waste product and ranking the product by the highest hazards rank using garret ranking method. This will help to identify the product which contain more hazards element and necessary actions shall be triggered. Identify Good or bad work posture and the level of risks associated with poor work posture and their impact on labor productivity. DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF DUAL BRAKING SYSTEM IN HEAVY DUTY VEHICLES: (at BE mechanical engineering)

The dual Brake system having two brakes in one, giving the system a larger reserve capacity. On a heavy duty vehicles, one circuit focuses on the front axle while the other operates the rear. If one circuit fails, the other is isolated and remains active, allowing the vehicle still to utilize its brakes. SOFTWARE KNOWN:
