Short term Data Base Engineering project to provision an Ericsson (Nortel) Mobile Call Server/Media Gateway Control Function node on AT&T’s AIC (AT&T Integrated Cloud) in AT&T’s Redmond WA Wireless test lab.

This included writing and validating a Method of Procedure for the above, so that it could be used to perform the same activity in AT&Ts Wireless production network.

Glow Networks (CSS CORP), Irving TX Oct 2017 – June 2018

Tier 2 Engineer (contractor) in a Remote Test Integration Center operated by Glow Networks.

Providing support to Field Technicians for the integration and cutover to the Nokia AirScale BaseBand Unit in both the Verizon and Sprint wireless cell sites, and assisting Tier 1 Engineers in trouble shooting any issues they were seeing during the cutover activities.

Senior Engineer – Software validation

Validated testing of software upgrade and testing of MSC / MGCF software features in the AT&T labs at Redmond, WA and in AT&T live networks which included writing, review with customer engineers and execution of test plans. Collected data and opened trouble tickets providing support to engineers that facilitated corrective action.

Validated Customer Visible Design Feature documents, implemented documents and product description documents for the GSM-N MSC/MGCF and Media Gateway nodes.

Introduced Media Gateway Control Function on the GSM-N Call Server that supported Circuit Switch to Packet Switch functionality to interwork PSTN, GSM 3G and 2G mobile with 4G VoLTE mobile in the LTE Evolved Packet Core network.

Supported IpV6 bearer between the Wireless Circuit Switch Network and the Wireless Packet Switch Network.

Conducted customer lab testing on support of the GSM-N Call Server with Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent) 3G RNCs; support of SIP-I interworking between the GSM-N Call Server and SONUS network equipment; testing of E911 calls using GLONASS satellites in addition to A-GSM satellites to provide more accurate resolution of mobile location.
