THE PROCESS CAPABILITY STUDY IN SUGAR INDUSTRY

Quantity parameters of sugar were collected for required number of samples. Process capability induces for all quality parameters were calculated and process is capability histogram were drawn. From histogram and values of process capability induces it is concluded that process is capable of producing sugar with all quality parameters within the specification limits but TURBIDITY AND MINIMUM APERTURE. As the process for producing with the turbidity and minimum aperture within specification limits is incapable, Cause and effect diagram(fish bone diagram) is drawn to locate variability causes.
