Maintained detailed engineering and design drawing files and schematics using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and other spatial or Geographic Information System (GIS) software platforms (Bentley, Spatial, AutoCAD, Smallworld). Assisted in building the HFC broadband to support existing and new customers both commercial and residential. Assisted in ensuring submissions are complete, accurate within functional specifications and standards frameworks, and properly documented while maintaining design standards and timelines based on SOWs. Maintained records and reports, processed invoices, documented and digitized construction as-builds for project reconciliation. Managed assignment scheduling, workflow, and weekly production reports in addition to maintaining the digital plotter, engineering copier/scanner, and other departmental equipment. Designed detailed layout of the electrical formats from transformers to the oil refineries. Drafting work consisted was to place the elevations and also the annotation of the electrical panels and locations. Confered with engineering staff and other personnel to resolve problems. Responsible for creating the Grounding, Area Class, Instrument Location and Heat Trace drawings for upstream Oil & Gas facilities. Calculated lengths of Flare controller cables. Designed the format for the Heat Trace drawings as they were new for Halker. Worked with other designers on Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules. Interfaced with Client to answer questions and solve problems as they arose.

Implemented the routes of the pipeline, and through different levels of towers and refineries, using CADworks 3D version. Determined what kind of material is best option to get to their rightful destination. Selective valves would be selected according to the volume and stage at which the oil would be at. Used Microstation and CADworks on 22 Well pads in the Midland (Texas area) which was a project for external customer.
