Recruited to return and assist in the Target New Store Flex, Small, Urban and Campus format construction program and to oversee projects across the US.

Also responsible for site development of assigned self-developed projects and distressed retailer take-overs for the construction of General Merchandise large format stores.

Lead cross-functional internal and external teams from site selection, site reconnaissance, site condition and through the SD/DD/CD phases of design.

Accountable for overseeing permitting and working with outside counsel and expediters on entitlements and signage variances.

Worked with Target’s General Contractors and Procurement Vendors on the successful buyout of the individual projects and scheduled delivery of Owner Supplied Materials, Material Handling, Fixtures and Equipment and Contractor Provided Materials to ensure the successful delivery of the entire project managing scope, schedule, budget and change management end to end.

Managed projects across major markets participating in acquisitions including Seattle, Portland, Denver, Chicago, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Charlotte, Nashville, Memphis, Minneapolis and more applying the Abra branding from an exterior, interior, tooling, equipment and culture perspective across the centers and teams.

Key leader of the Construction Leadership Team that oversaw Target’s entry into the Canadian marketplace.

Aided in developing strategy, resources, training and relationships that made the execution of 127 new store construction, expansion, renovation and conversion projects a reality in a 13-month construction timeframe.

Worked diligently across multiple disciplines and a host of external entities to deliver projects on time and within stated budgets.

Oversaw development and construction management in new and emerging markets of Alaska, Hawaii and Canada.

Additionally responsible for numerous collateral duties and mentorship programs internal to the organization.

Target Renewable Energy Team –

Lead the execution teams of internal partners and solar developers in the construction of roof top solar installations at owned properties across the US in over 150 locations.

Worked closely with Tesla Motors in developing a pilot program of battery alternative power solutions as well.

National Program Manager – Target P-Fresh Program –

Created the scalable, multi-location construction program that provided Target with the resources, training and executibility of installing a grocery market area of low temperature, medium temperature and reach-in refrigerated cases as well as a dry grocery department that required a total store in-the-box remodeling of over 1200 Target locations nationwide over a 3.5 year period.
