Over my career, I have acquired extensive experience in the areas of design and construction. Working with a team, taking conceptual schematics and developing them into a workable and cost-efficient end result. Projects have ranged in size from a single family home to multi-use commercial projects in excess of 356 million. As a Senior Project/Construction Administrator and Project Manager, I have worked with contractors and sub-trades to ensure the continuity and timely completion of projects. I fully understand the importance of being efficient and organized, and meeting the time and cost constraints of all projects, of any size. I have also been involved in creating and establishing a successful furniture retail store, the development of an industrial lumber remanufacturing facility, and as a general contractor, I was able to take all my experience, and provide a full service to clients, ensuring superior quality and construction. My experience includes the following:

• Initiated a periodic “Peer Reviews” of the contract documents for compliance.

• Development of “Project Specifications” and the creation of specialized sections.

• Review and ensuring Building Code compliance.

• Lead and coordinate contract documents with consultants.

• Development of technical solutions “thinking outside the box”.

• Identifying design issues and providing potential solutions.

• Review rec’d tenders for compliance and assist/negotiate cost savings and make recommendations.

• Development of Sub-trade contracts and construction schedules.

• Reviewing construction conflicts and developing immediate solutions to maintain construction schedule.

• Leading the team in all aspects of construction including the review of shop drawings for compliance.

• Chairing and documenting team meetings to ensure efficient use of time.

• Ensuring and maintaining the Liability of the firm, in all aspects related to the construction documents and the construction of the project.

October 2019 – January 2020 Senior Project Manager Clark Builders, Edmonton, Alberta

Role was overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical Project Managers ensuring that all documentation was provided for approval. Role also included coordination of the 13 Elevators and Lightening Protection issues specific to the construction and completion of the New Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. Clark Builders was contracted (Dec. 2918), by Alberta Infrastructure to complete the facility from another contractor removed from the project. The project consists of a four (4) Level Hospital of approx. 63,200 sq, m., with a construction cost of over 700 million. Elements of highlighting are as follows:

• Created and developed Sub-contracts for Otis Elevators and Lighting Protection Services.

• Creation and coordination with the Lead Site Superintendent on the “Lean Construction Process” and construction schedule of the Elevators ensuring construction use.

• Coordination with Lead Site Super on completion of all scopes listed above for each floor c/w a turn- over schedule
