I have worked with various clients from different industries such as industrial, farming, medical, as well as food and beverage. My experience has allowed me to plan and manage client programs, ensure a strong understanding of program requirements, consult on recommended solutions, increase revenue, guarantee timely program execution, seek out new business opportunities, host meetings, and provide training for my junior team.
In my previous employment at Integrated Merchandising Solutions, I managed a cross functioning team of six people (executive, production, and warehouse) on the Constellation Brands account. I worked closely with the brand marketing team by providing them with $3 million dollars’ worth of retail merchandise for Corona, Modelo, Pacifico, and Victoria beer. This included manufacturing close to 1,000 various items annually.
In addition to handling the client’s day to day requests, I oversaw programs with merchandise that included an entire year of planning. Weekly, I would review the fiscal calendar, analyze prior year’s sales to make current year projections, consult the client on merchandise options based on cost effectiveness, as well as create presentations with new, innovative retail merchandise options. I traveled to the client’s office frequently to build a stronger relationship and presence. We would review the physical samples we produced to ensure the highest quality control before the merchandise was distributed nationally. Once the first half of the year’s programs were planned, I made sure my team manufactured the merchandise and handled the distribution of shipments in a timely fashion. I also had a strong relationship with my Vice President and Director as we developed new sales strategies, tested new software, and hit our yearly KPIs through warehouse fulfillment enhancements and technology improvements on the client’s e-commerce website. My experience at Integrated Merchandising Solutions has taught me to stay organized, but most importantly to communicate with my junior team. I made sure to host meetings every single morning, distribute work evenly, provide training, create spreadsheets with data to reference, and post necessary documents into each co-worker’s cubicle wall. I manufacture and sell promotional products to clients that need custom merchandise like apparel, giveaways, drinkware, etc with their company logo.
