I am writing on behalf of Lesley Ventura whom I have continue to mentor and guide through her education.

Lesley Ventura obtained her high school diploma from Hope College and Career Readiness Academy in May 2020. Unfortunately, due to our nationwide pandemic she was unable to have a graduation ceremony. However, that did not stop her from pursuing her goals as a dental assistant. I believe she possess the qualities to successfully achieve her goals.

As a first-generation college student, I believe that she will obtain a higher education in the future. This scholarship will give her the opportunity to grow academically and professionally. In addition, it will relieve some of the financial burden to pursue her dreams.

During the summer, she would volunteer her time in our firm to learn how to organize client files where this would give her some knowledge of the workforce. I hope with her experience in our firm it will enhance her ability to organize her path for higher education. I believe she will continue to use her knowledge and expertise to give back to her community.

I hope you strongly consider while making your decision for her to be the recipient of this scholarship. Lesly is intelligent, motivated, discipline and willing to learn. This is the reason for my recommendation for the scholarship award. She has a strong work ethic and is a very reliable student.
