WORK EXPERIENCE

2019: Additional update. I am still with Honolulu Freight Service. Now that our new billing system is up and running, I have moved to the accounting department as the Lead Accounts Payable, as of 01/15/18. This positon requires invoice entering and there are 500 or more invoices in a week to be entered, account set ups, obtaining W-9’s from new vendors. Paying all invoices for all of my terminals and that includes Los Angeles, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, and the Hawaiian Islands. I research disputes and advise findings to customers and vendors. I report directly to the CFO and provide monthly P&L reports.

I am working in the system to set up a way to have it generate customer rate letters based off of the information I have added and created. Also, I am now working with the Credit and Collections Department to help recover lost revenue from customers who are behind in payments.

Honolulu Freight Service: In 2007, I was transferred to my Seattle billing office from Honolulu. Seattle is where we manifest and bill thousands of customers each week. Seattle is the Corporate Office and everything is generated from here.
