As a young and motivated individual, I am extremely interested in applying for the advertised job opening.

In November 2014, I completed my B.Sc. studies and obtained a Certificate in Computer Science and Information Technology, and while completing my B.Sc. studies, I worked as an Industrial Training intern at Wema Bank Plc. My responsibilities included providing face-to-face, and over-the-phone customer service to customers, assisting the Head of Operations with all operation of the Automated Teller Machine, providing Information Technology assistance to other workers, amongst other important roles.

I also have basic web development skills in HTML5 and CSS, which I honed in practice while I was an intern at the Management Information Centre (MIC) at the Oyo State Secretariat, responsible for front-end web development of the Oyo State official website.

In 2016, I was employed as the Business Development Manager/IT Consultant at Indigene Creations Limited, where I worked for over a year. I was responsible for:

Managing daily operations, planning the use of materials and human resources.

Controlling expenditure in accordance with budgeted amounts; evaluating, recommending and implementing improvements on cost control practices.

Managing business relationships with key suppliers, as well as customers.

Developing and supervising electronic efforts designed to maintain web platform and digital products.

Preparing and analysing financial, sales and activity report and other performance data to measure the company’s progress and determine areas requiring attention/improvement.

Reporting regularly on the company’s business and financial performance to management and stakeholders.

Supervising all other IT (Information Technology) related projects, such as developing the company e-commerce website (as well as maintenance), and developing other digital products.

I believe this has given me a range of practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this job, and this position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience working in a professional and fast-paced work environment.

My teachers and employers have commended me for my high level of interpretational skills and naturally engaging personality. My motivations include learning new things and the challenge of meeting key objectives, and this is not meant to be cliché, but I do really well under pressure – maybe even better.
