Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services, project execution plan, proposal/project schedule (including manpower projection plan), TIC, conditions of contract Coordinate & align the blueprint for equipment fabrication Coordinate with engineering and designing team to draft design specifications and create concept designs accordingly Communicate with the engineering team to understand technical specifications of the designs Ensure that final designs are in compliance with design standards Strong understanding of mechanical design, micro-fabrication and data analysis Interpret customer specifications and schedules to define requirements for equipment design Work with local and remote teams to implement designs into production Attend periodic progress review meetings with the proposal preparation team and monitor progress of each activity Follow-up with PD for vendor offers and obtain vendor responses for the technical clarifications raised Shortlist and identify target vendors for various key packages Prepare cost estimates for various equipment and review the same to arrive at optimum costing Prepare and compile a Risk Register wherein various risk elements of the project are listed and update the risk mitigation strategy for each risk element in consultation with Proposals Manager and discipline engineers Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per client requirement Responsible for collecting and integrating all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements
