DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Daily PEP Talk & Toolbox monitoring before starting any activity.
Preparing Job Safety Analysis According to the job with concerned Engineer.
Making safety round with client & Finding unsafe act or unsafe condition.
Testing the effectiveness of the emergency response plans.
Evaluate the levels of compliance of subcontractors to the project specific health and safety plan and client specifications through inspections and audits.
Conducting safety meetings area wise.
Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
Arranges for OSHA mandated testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies/consultants.
To Preparing and reporting maintain the documents regarding the safety plans.
Coordinating inspection with P&M department for all equipment & vehicle.
Give training to workers on various topics, (WAH, Excavation, scaffolding, fire etc.
Investigation of all Accidents / Near misses to find the root cause, recommend corrective actions and maintain accident/incident data for analysis.
Follow up the compliance on various work permits such as hot work permits, cold work permits, confined space entry permits, excavation, etc...
Conduct subcontractor’s weekly safety meeting and participate on weekly progress meeting.
HSE inspection and recommendation to contractors for necessary Safety measures.
